Rules and regulations: All entries must fit under the rules and regulations specified herein.
Content:
All submissions will be read by the blog editor and judged on the criteria listed below. If the submission does not fit all of the criteria, the editor has the right to decline said submission. If a writer persists in submitting inappropriate content they may be prohibited from posting any works in the future.
1. This blog is intended for ages 14 and up. It is required that you keep your content appropriate for this age group.
2. Subjects including drugs, sex, crude jokes, and strong or abusive language should be avoided.
3. No vivid or gory violence.
4. Subjects should not put down or abuse other races, cultures, or religious systems.
The blog editor is not required to specify why any submission was declined.

All submissions of short stories, poems, or chapters/installments of a longer series must not exceed eight thousand [8,000] words.

All submissions must be sent through email in a PDF file. If the file is corrupt or unable to be opened the blog editor has the right to request that the file be sent in a different format.
When emailing your submission, please include "(your name)'s submission" in the subject line (i.e. John Doe's Submission). You should also make sure that your PDF file has both your name and the name of your story in the title (i.e. John Doe_My Story). Also include the title and your name as a page header for your story.
When submitting a series, please send each installment in a separate PDF file. You should include your name and the title of the series followed by a number indicating where the story falls into the series (i.e. John Doe_My Story_1, John Doe_My Story_2, etc.). You should also include your name, the title of your series, and the title of the individual story as a page header for your story.
Publication:
When a submission is made it will go through the reviewing process in which the editor of this blog site will read it and make certain that it is in accord with the afore stated rules and regulations for a submissions content. This may take a few weeks. Within 30 days your approved submission will be published under the name described on the file. If for any reason the reviewing process will take longer, an email will be sent to the author of the story to make them aware of the situation.

NOTICE: When submitting a series you have two options. You can either send your entire series in one email with separate PDF files, or you can send each continuation of the story as you write them (e.g. twice a week, once a week, etc.). With the first option the editor will not post them all at once, but has the right to post only the first story of the series and from there decide how soon or how often to release the proceeding stories. With the second option each individual story of the series will need to go through the publication process of being read and approved by the editor before being released. This may take up to 30 days for each after they are sent in.
Liability:
Neither this blog site nor any of its editors or employees are liable for damage to or loss of a submission. You (the submitter) are responsible to retain a backup of your submission for safety.
You hereby agree that by submitting your short story (or stories) that you have read and have agreed to all of the rules and regulations.
